← Back to Level 1

Objective

I can name simple family rules and explain how they help us be safe, kind, and fair.

Materials

Mini-lesson — Our family rules

Families use rules to help everyone feel safe, cared for, and treated fairly.

Family rules can be about…

  • Being safe (no running near roads).
  • Being kind (use gentle words).
  • Being fair (take turns with toys).
  • Helping at home (put things back).

Rules we can say at home

  • "We use kind words."
  • "We take turns."
  • "We help clean up."
  • "We listen when someone is talking."

Different homes can have different rules. We respect them.
