Account + progress basics
Parent account info and learning data needed to save progress and run the platform (for example: completed lessons and scores).
Homeschool Education Academy is designed for families. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how families stay in control.
Short version first. Full details below.
Parent account info and learning data needed to save progress and run the platform (for example: completed lessons and scores).
To deliver lessons, save progress and results, keep the service secure, and improve performance and reliability.
Request access, corrections, exports, or deletion by contacting support.
We keep collection minimal and focused on the learning experience.
When you create an account, we collect basic details such as name, email, and authentication data needed to sign you in and secure your account.
If you manage multiple kids, you may add child profiles (for example: a nickname/first name and grade-level progress).
To save progress, we store learning data such as completed lessons, quiz scores, and settings. This helps families keep a clear record and continue where they left off.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example, Stripe). We do not store full card numbers. We may store purchase status and transaction references needed to provide access and support.
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember settings, and protect the service. If you disable cookies, some features (like login and saving progress) may not work.
We may collect limited technical data (like browser type, device type, and error logs) to fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve speed and stability.
If you contact us, we receive the information you submit (like your email and message) so we can respond and help solve the issue.
Homeschool Education Academy is designed for families. Parents/guardians remain the account owners.
Parent/guardian accounts create and manage child profiles and decide how the platform is used. If we learn we collected personal information from a child without proper consent, we will delete it.
We avoid collecting unnecessary personal data from children. If we add features that require more data, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.
We use information only for legitimate service needs.
Deliver lessons, save progress and scores, and keep the platform functioning.
Debug issues, improve speed, and refine the learning experience.
Answer questions, handle requests, and provide account and billing support.
We do not sell personal information. We share only what’s needed to run the service or comply with law.
We may share limited data with vendors that help operate the service (hosting, analytics, payment processing). They must protect data and use it only to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms.
We retain data only as long as needed and use reasonable safeguards.
We keep information as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk.
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information. Contact support and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
