Tell what the tradition is
- Name the tradition clearly.
- Example: Every winter, my family bakes cookies together.
Tell when it happens
- Use time words like every year, on Fridays, or during holidays.
Tell why it matters
- Explain how the tradition makes your family feel or what it teaches.
- Example: It helps us spend time together.
Ask yourself: "Does every sentence help explain my main idea?"
