Balancing school, screen and sleep

A Grade 6 day has 24 hours. School takes about 6 of them. Sleep should take 9 to 11. The rest is yours — but only if you choose well. The biggest threat to a balanced day is screens: phones, tablets, consoles and TVs that quietly stretch from a quick check into hours, eating into homework, exercise, family time and sleep. Balance does not mean banning fun. It means giving each part of your life the time it actually needs so your body, brain and mood all work well.
