Objective
I can write a simple email with a subject, greeting,
message, closing, and my name — and follow basic email safety.
Materials
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Ruled paper (primary lines preferred)
Mini-lesson — Emails are messages with a subject
An email is a message you send on a device. It should be short, polite,
and easy to understand.
Email parts
- Subject: what the email is about
- Greeting: hello + the person’s name
- Message: 1–3 clear sentences
- Closing: polite ending
- Name: your name on the next line
Safety rule
- Do not share personal info (address, phone, passwords).
- If you are not sure, ask an adult before sending.
