Grade 6 · Writing · Lesson 36

Write a talk and present it with slides

A talk is a piece of writing designed to be spoken out loud — to a class, a panel, or an audience. Unlike an essay, a talk must work in real time: the listener cannot reread a sentence. That means your script must be clear, rhythmic, and memorable. When you add slides, the two elements must work together: the slide shows the skeleton; your voice adds the flesh.
