What Grade 6 covers

Grade 6 (6th grade, ages 11–12) is 280 lessons: 40 in each of 7 subjects, every subject in a clear order from lesson 1 to 40. For example: in math, children learn to define percent as a ratio that compares a part to one hundred; in reading, to identify symbols in a literary text and distinguish them from their literal meaning; and in science, to name the six common forms of energy.
