Grade 6 · Writing · Lesson 8

Peer review using a rubric

Peer review is one of the most powerful tools a writer can use. When you evaluate a classmate\'s work using a rubric, you apply specific criteria — thesis clarity, use of evidence, coherence, and more — to give feedback that is genuinely useful. Strong feedback is specific and actionable, not vague praise or harsh criticism.
