Digital footprint and reputation

Every time you go online you leave a trail — a post you wrote, a photo you uploaded, a comment you liked, a video you commented on, even a profile picture you set five years ago. All of that, taken together, is your DIGITAL FOOTPRINT. Unlike footprints in sand, your digital footprint does not wash away with the next wave. Screenshots get saved, search engines remember, and old accounts you forgot still float around. Your REPUTATION online is the picture other people build of you from those traces — and one day, future schools, future employers, future teammates, and even future you will look at it.
