Grade 6 · Social Studies · Lesson 32

Active global citizenship

A global citizen is someone who thinks beyond their own country — who cares about people in other places, tries to understand global issues, and takes action where they can. Being a global citizen does not require a passport or a big budget. It starts at home, in your school, and in your neighborhood. The actions are small individually, but huge when many people do them together.
