Time management tools

Time is the one resource every Grade 6 student gets in equal amounts — 24 hours, every single day. The students who feel calm and finish their work are not faster or smarter. They just use simple tools that match each time tool to the right time scale. A daily tool answers what do I do today, a weekly tool answers what is coming this week, and a monthly tool answers what big things are due this month. Use the wrong tool for the scale and you either feel buried or you forget the deadline. Use the right one and time stops feeling like an enemy.
