AI Text Tools: How They Work

AI text tools, like ChatGPT or other chatbots, are powered by large language models (LLMs). An LLM has read enormous amounts of text and learned which words tend to follow which. When you type a prompt, it uses that pattern knowledge to predict the next words, one piece at a time, until it produces a full response.
