Grade 5 · Social Studies · Lesson 39

Social studies final review

Today is your YEAR REVIEW. Social studies all year long has come from FIVE big domains: GEOGRAPHY (the world map and how to read it), HISTORY (what happened, when, and why), CIVICS (rules, rights, and government), ECONOMICS (how people earn, spend, and trade), and CITIZENSHIP (how to act in a community - local and global). One review session cannot reteach the whole year - but it CAN remind you of the keywords, sharpen the connections between domains, and help you find the topics that still feel fuzzy. The strategy today: recall the vocabulary, re-read your notes, quiz yourself, connect topics across domains, and write down questions you still have.
