Modern history milestones

The last 250 years have changed the world more than any other stretch of history. Steam engines and factories built the modern city. Two world wars redrew the map. Civil rights movements gave more people a voice. Astronauts walked on the Moon. The Berlin Wall fell. Then the internet arrived in almost every pocket. This lesson is a tour of the biggest MILESTONES of modern history — events so important that almost every country still feels their effects today.
