Multiplication Models and Facts Fluency

Multiplication is a fast way to add equal amounts. When you see 4 x 6, you can picture 4 equal groups of 6, an array with 4 rows of 6, or 4 jumps of 6 on a number line. All three pictures give the same product: 24.
