Identify Bias in Media

Media bias happens when a news story, article, or report presents only one side of an issue, uses emotional language, or leaves out important facts or viewpoints. Balanced coverage gives multiple perspectives, uses neutral language, and relies on verifiable evidence. Spotting bias helps you become a critical reader.
