Mini Lesson

Sharing your digital creations — such as documents, slideshows, drawings, or videos — is an important part of being a digital creator. Presenting your work to an audience helps you communicate your ideas and grow as a learner.

Steps to Share Your Digital Work

  1. Create — finish your digital work and check it is saved.
  2. Review — read through your work, fixing any errors.
  3. Prepare — plan what you will say: What is your work about? What are you most proud of?
  4. Share — show your work on the screen and explain it to your audience.
  5. Feedback — listen carefully to your audience's comments and thank them.

Presentation Tips

  • Speak clearly and at a steady, calm pace.
  • Make eye contact with your audience rather than just reading from the screen.
  • Point to or highlight the important parts of your digital work.
  • Explain why you made certain choices (colors, images, layout).
  • Say what you are most proud of in your creation.
  • Thank your audience when you finish.

Giving and Receiving Feedback

  • Positive feedback: tell the presenter one thing you liked and why.
  • Constructive feedback: suggest one thing they could improve or add.
  • When receiving feedback: listen without interrupting; say thank you.
