Respecting Cultural Differences

Culture is the set of customs, traditions, languages, foods, celebrations, and values shared by a group of people. Every person on Earth belongs to a culture — and most people are influenced by more than one. When we meet someone whose culture is different from ours, our first reaction might be surprise or confusion. Respectful people choose curiosity over judgment.
