Listen to Audiobooks Critically

Listening to an audiobook is not the same as letting sounds wash over you. Critical listening means paying active attention — noticing what is said, how it is said, and what it means. Just as you read print carefully for meaning, you listen to audio carefully for ideas, details, and expression.
