Write a Friendly Note

A friendly note is a short written message you send to someone you know — a friend, a family member, a classmate, or a neighbor. It is warm, personal, and usually short. Notes can be written on paper and handed to someone or left for them to find!

What this lesson teaches

1Write a friendly note using three parts — greeting, message, and sign-off
2Put a comma after the person’s name in the greeting (e.g., "Dear Maya,")
3Choose an appropriate greeting and sign-off that matches the relationship with the reader
