What Grade 2 covers

Grade 2 (2nd grade, ages 7–8) is 280 lessons: 40 in each of 7 subjects, every subject in a clear order from lesson 1 to 40. For example: in math, children learn to use a number line to model both addition and subtraction and mark the start; in reading, to identify the cause of an event — what made it happen; and in science, to explain how wind forms when warm air rises and cooler air rushes in.
