Mini Lesson

Have you ever tried to carry something really heavy all by yourself? It is much easier when someone helps! That is exactly what working together is all about.

What is cooperation?

  • Cooperation means working with other people toward a shared goal.
  • When people cooperate, they share the work, listen to each other, and use everyone's strengths.
  • Example: one person holds the door while another carries the bags — cooperation!

Working together at home

  • Families cooperate when everyone helps with chores — setting the table, washing dishes, tidying up.
  • When everyone does their part, the home runs smoothly and is more enjoyable for all.

Working together during lessons

  • Friends cooperate during group projects by sharing ideas and dividing tasks.
  • Helping a friend who is stuck is also cooperation — it helps the whole group learn.

Working together in the community

  • Communities cooperate by volunteering, cleaning up parks, and helping neighbors.
  • Every person's contribution — no matter how small — makes the community stronger.
