One of the best things about having a family is doing things together — those shared moments are what make memories!

What do families do together?

  • Families do many different activities as a group.
  • Example: Eating dinner together is one of the most common family activities — it gives everyone time to talk and share their day.
  • Activities can happen indoors or outdoors, on weekdays or weekends.

Indoor family activities

  • Reading a book together at bedtime.
  • Playing board games or card games.
  • Cooking or baking a meal together.
  • Watching a movie as a family.

Outdoor family activities

  • Going for a walk or a bike ride.
  • Visiting a park or a playground.
  • Gardening or planting flowers together.
  • Going on a family trip or picnic.

Why does it matter?

  • Spending time together makes family members feel loved and connected.
  • It builds memories that last a lifetime.
  • It helps family members know each other better.
