← Back to Level 1

Objective

I can follow simple classroom rules that help everyone feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.

Materials

Mini-lesson — Why do we need rules?

Rules help us stay safe and kind. They help everyone learn.

Examples of classroom rules:

  • We listen when someone is speaking.
  • We share materials.
  • We take turns.
  • We help others.
  • We keep hands and feet safe.

Rules are not to punish. They help everyone feel included and ready to learn.
