Grade 6 · Writing · Lesson 39

Finalize and celebrate work

The final stage of the writing process is publication — the moment your work leaves your hands and reaches readers. Before you share, a last proofreading pass catches anything revision missed: a missing comma, a repeated word, an inconsistent heading. After that, publication is about choosing the right format for your audience and celebrating the effort it took to get here. Finishing strong is a skill. Writers who know how to close the loop on a piece become more confident, more prolific, and more ambitious with every project.
