Charts and Data Storytelling

A chart is not a decoration — it is a sentence made of shapes. When you pick the right chart, the shape itself tells the story before the reader even reads a number. When you pick the wrong chart, the story gets lost in the noise. Data storytelling is the skill of choosing the chart whose shape matches the question you want to answer.
