Grade 6 · SEL · Lesson 19

Team roles and responsibilities

Team roles are the four jobs a group divides up so the work actually gets done. When everyone has a role, no one is sitting there wondering what to do, and no one is doing all the work alone. The four classroom roles you will meet most often in Grade 6 are Leader, Recorder, Timekeeper and Reporter. Each has a clear responsibility — and rotating those roles across projects helps every member grow in every direction.
