Grade 5 · Writing · Lesson 36

Write author reflections on growth

An AUTHOR REFLECTION is a short piece of writing where YOU look back at your own work — across a unit, a term, or a whole year — and tell the reader (and yourself) HOW you grew as a writer. It is not a summary of every story you wrote. It is honest answers to four questions: What got STRONGER? What was HARD? Where can I show GROWTH with a real example? What goal do I set for NEXT?
