Global trade and interdependence

Look around your room. The phone might be assembled in CHINA. The shoes might be made in VIETNAM. The coffee in the kitchen probably came from BRAZIL or COLOMBIA. The watch on the shelf might say "Swiss Made". No single country grew, mined, or built every item near you. That is because every country trades with other countries — and that giant web of buying and selling between nations is called GLOBAL TRADE.
