Mini Lesson

An AI showcase is a collaborative event where teams present their knowledge, projects, and ideas about artificial intelligence. Preparing for a showcase requires organizing roles, managing time, combining knowledge from across the year, and communicating ideas clearly to an audience.

Team Roles for an AI Showcase

  • Project lead — organizes the team, manages deadlines, and ensures all parts come together.
  • Researcher — gathers facts, data, and examples to support the showcase topic.
  • Designer — creates visual materials such as posters, slides, or diagrams.
  • Presenter — practices and delivers the oral presentation to the audience.
  • Tech specialist — handles any digital tools, demonstrations, or AI components in the showcase.

  • Unit 1 — AI understanding: explain what AI is, how it learns, and how it is used in the world.

Vocabulary
showcase
A presentation event where you display and explain a project or achievement to an audience.
collaboration
Working together as a team, sharing responsibilities and ideas to achieve a shared goal.
project lead
The team member responsible for organizing the group, managing time, and keeping the project on track.
tech specialist
The team member who handles digital tools, software, and any AI demonstrations in the showcase.
narrative
The story structure of a presentation — beginning, middle, and end — that guides the audience through your ideas.
