ChatGPT is an AI tool that can generate text, answer questions, and suggest creative ideas. You give it a prompt — a short instruction or question — and it responds with helpful suggestions. The key is writing a clear, specific prompt so the AI understands exactly what you need.
How to Write a Good Prompt
- Be specific — tell the AI the topic, audience, and purpose.
- Give context — mention any important details, such as the subject, grade level, or style.
- Ask for a number — for example, "Give me five ideas for...".
- Refine if needed — if the first response is not useful, rephrase your prompt and try again.
Evaluating AI-Generated Ideas
- Read all the ideas before deciding — the best one may not be first.
- Ask: Is this idea realistic and achievable?
- Ask: Does it match the purpose or topic?
- Make the idea your own — add your own details and creativity.
- Never copy AI output directly — always review, edit, and personalize it.
