Prepare a Writing Presentation
What this lesson teaches
- 1Choose a piece of writing that shows the most growth, clearest ideas, or strongest personal voice
- 2Write a short spoken introduction that names the piece, says why it was chosen, and prepares the audience
- 3Read aloud with expression — slow pace, strong volume, matching tone, and eye contact
- 4Close with a specific writer's reflection on what was learned, would be changed, or the writer is proud of
- 5Practice reading the piece aloud at least three times before presenting
