You have completed 40 lessons of Grade 3 Social Studies — covering community and citizenship, geography, history, economics, and global projects. Today is your day to celebrate everything you have learned and share it with someone who matters to you.

Unit A — Community and Citizenship

• You learned about community leaders, laws, volunteering, public services, and what it means to be a global citizen who respects differences and takes responsibility.

• You learned to read maps, identify continents and oceans, compare climate zones, explore cultures and landmarks, understand transportation, and discuss how lifestyles vary around the globe.

• You explored timelines, ancient civilizations, great explorers, communication history, technology change, comparisons of past and present life, national holidays, and family heritage.

• You studied producers and consumers, goods and services, money flow, saving and spending, jobs, entrepreneurship, community businesses, and ran your own family market.
