Explore Shapes in Real Environments

Geometric shapes are all around us in the real world. A door is a rectangle. A pizza is a circle. Honeycomb cells are hexagons. Even 3D shapes appear in everyday objects: a tin can is a cylinder, a dice is a cube, and an orange is a sphere. Learning to recognize these shapes helps us connect maths to the world we live in.
