Keep Tablets and Computers Clean

Tablets and computers cost a lot of money and need to last a long time. Keeping them clean and safe is everyone's responsibility — especially yours when you are using one!

Cleaning the screen

• Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe the screen gently.
• Never use water, wet wipes, or cleaning sprays directly on the screen — liquid can seep inside and cause damage.
• Wipe in slow, gentle circles — never press hard or scrub.

Caring for the keyboard

• Keep food and drinks away from the keyboard — crumbs and spills are the biggest cause of keyboard damage.
• To remove dust or crumbs, turn the keyboard upside down and gently tap it, or use a soft brush.
• Never poke objects like pencils or pens between the keys.

Protecting the charging port and cables

• Plug and unplug cables gently and straight — never yank or twist.
• Keep the charging port dry and free of dust — a blocked port means the device cannot charge.
• Store cables loosely coiled, never bent at sharp angles, so the wire inside does not break.
